Friends Club and Himalayan Sherpa Club ends goalless

Friends Club Kupondole and Himalayan Sherpa Club share a point each in the ongoing Qatar Martys’ A Division League. Both the teams started the game slow with little no attacking play however the game opened up over time with Friends’ club creating attacking chances. Multiple shots from Sanjog Maharjan was too easy for HSC keeper to save.

Uttam Rai the goal scorer in the last match failed to get on the score sheet today as no ball was supplied to the attacker from the Mid Field. Dev Limbu saved two one on one situations from close range to keep FC in the lead. The game ended with both the teams failing to make it on the score sheet.

The club is currently just above the relegation spot with 2 points in 5 games and is yet to register its first win. Friends Club will be facing Three Star Club in the next match.

Friends Club take on Himalayan Sherpa Club in the next match of Qatar Airways Martyr’s Memorial A Division League 2076. The match that is scheduled to be held on Dasharat Stadium on 7th January 2020, Tuesday is the clubs chance to register its first win.

The club urges all its supporters and well-wishers to show support to the club and the league by attending the match.

Friends Club Kupondole ends MMC’s winning streak as they secure their first point in the ongoing Qatar Martyrs’ Memorial A Division League 2019.MMC took an early lead in the game by a headed goal of Ranjan Bista from Jagadish Shrestha’s corner in the 12th minute. MMC continued to put attacking pressure throughout the first half but the FC defense held their ground. An appeal for an FC penalty was denied by the referee in the 34th minute of the game that caused a discussion between the FC officials and the referee team. The first half ended with MMC leading the game with a goal.

FC started the second half with attacking play but the MMC defense managed to defend well. FCs’ Uttam Rai leveled up the score with a stunning diving header from inside the box thanks to Rumesh Bartaula’s brilliant cross from the left-wing. The game ended with the teams sharing a point each.
